We are your Michigan neighbors, we are your friends, we are your family, we are in your schools, we are in your churches and united we are working in distain of evil, advocating for justice, on a mission to compassionately care for the needs of our youth survivors of child abuse. United we believe healing C-PTSD requires a multifaceted approach, it is important to acknowledge exercise and artistic expression while powerful are only a piece of the puzzle towards healing, we strongly recommend seeking trauma therapy and consulting a pediatric physician.
Valor Youth Alliance non-profit organization is a not a medical therapy center. We encourage survivors and secondary survivors to reach out to a local advocacy center along with resources a family doctor and pediatric office for therapeutic, counseling, and psychiatry services. Physical healthcare and mental healthcare are interwoven. Please click on our resource page for C-PTSD educational resources and other healing practice recommendations.
We stand firm in our conviction participating in sports and artistic outlets are beneficial in healing. Sponsoring survivors athletic or artistic outlet specific to their choice gives them back power over their autonomy, cultivating resilience and hope.
We want you to join us in alliance. Freedom from shame of survivors begins when their truth touches light, when we step-up to show we care about their lives. Our valor youth are courageous, loved, and capable of greatness. There is nothing in the world more important than caring for children. With a financial donation you can help make a positive life change for youth with complex post traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) caused by severe childhood abuse. United we can help them find healing through sports and artistic outlets within our communities.
